Accountable Care Organizations have been a hot topic since the day the Affordable Care Act passed, and their organization and effects on the medical profession and healthcare in general could have a significant impact on the way physicians practice medicine in the very near future.

Recognizing the importance of ACOs—whether they are under the Medicare Shared Savings Program or developed independently—the TMA has undertaken to ensure that its members have the latest information on the progress of this model, and to equip members with the knowledge to evaluate ACOs.
