PITCH Sign-Up Form
TMA's legislative emphasis in 2009 is on insurance reform. We cannot stress enough the importance of having large numbers of physicians in white coats attending PITCH to promote our issues. At least 50 physicians, spouses and practice managers need to participate on each of these three designated PITCH days to make them most effective.
Schedule
Approximately a week to 10 days before your visit, participants should schedule appointments with their legislators. As we have done in the past, we will have a voucher for you to use to purchase lunch in the Legislative Plaza’s cafeteria.
During the day, participants can attend committee meetings or visit personally with legislators.
Transportation
TMA is again prepared to secure and pay the costs of a bus (other than in Middle Tennessee) for transportation into Nashville in order to facilitate your trip to the Capitol. Non-members, spouses and practice managers in your community are certainly welcome to participate. In order to rent a bus from either West or East Tennessee, we MUST have a commitment from at least 20 persons two weeks before the PITCH date who will ride the bus. (Any less and the cost of a bus is not economical).
Sign Up Today
In order to sign up, complete and submit the electronic form no less than TWO (2) weeks prior to your scheduled date. We have set this deadline in order to make final transportation provisions for those who will need it. Late sign-ups cannot be guaranteed a bus seat.
