Health Insurance Exchanges
The Affordable Care Act has charged states with the task of creating Health Insurance Exchanges with the stated goal of "making buying health coverage easier and more affordable." Of course, there's a lot more to it than that, and the TMA has been closely monitoring the progress of Tennessee's exchange and continues to advocate for the needs of physicians as the State attempts to choose the appropriate "benchmark" insurance plan.
