CMAs Can Now Enter Med Orders in CPOE

In its final rule for Stage 2 of meaningful use in its electronic health record incentive program, CMS decided that credentialed medical assistants—including CMAs (AAMA)—would be permitted to enter medication orders into the computerized provider order entry (CPOE) system.


October 3 Last Day to Begin 90-Day Reporting Period for 2012
