PITCH
Physicians Involved in Tennessee’s Capitol Hill
TMA and all the component medical societies join forces to rally doctors from across the state for Physicians Involved in Tennessee’s Capitol Hill (PITCH). Each Grand Division of the State is assigned a specific Wednesday for physicians to make their PITCH for a variety of issues including medical liability reform, health insurance reform and public health policies. The physicians attend House and Senate committees and subcommittees of Judiciary, Commerce and Health and schedule one-on-one meetings with legislators. All physicians, spouses and practice managers are encouraged to attend PITCH in 2010.
This year all three PITCH days will be on Wednesdays, as follows:
- West Tennessee - February 10, 2010 - PLC Participation Day
- East and Upper East Tennessee/Middle Tennessee –February 24, 2010
- Southeast Tennessee – March 17, 2010
