E/M SERVICES: CURRENT VS. FUTURE REGULATION

2020 was a hold steady year for E/M services, while preparing for the first changes in over 25 years. This online course aims to clarify those changes that became effective January 1, 2021. NAMAS founder Shannon DeConda, CPC, CPMA, CEMA, CMSCS, will discuss what is new this year and debate areas that are still ill defined, even with new guidance. Attendees will receive a better understanding of these changes, plus suggested provider education.

DeConda has over 16 years of experience as a multi-specialty auditor and coder. She helps coders, medical chart auditors and medical practices optimize business processes and maximize reimbursement by identifying lost revenue. Her Coding Certification is through both the AAPC and PAHCS.

This informative session is free to TMA members, and $99 for nonmembers.
