Governor Bill Lee extended Tennessee's State of Emergency on June 29, 2020 to address the rapidly surging COVID-19 pandemic. Executive Order #50 seeks to stabilize spikes in diagnosed cases across Tennessee by suspending various laws and regulations that may slow containment of the deadly virus. Regulatory flexibility, social distancing, large group restrictions and the protection of vulnerable populations are all addressed in the Governor's orders.
