Registration Opens for Healthcare Symposium

Hundreds of practice managers, coders, billers, auditors and other
medical office staff across the state will be logging in for the 2020 version of the greatly anticipated Tennessee Healthcare Symposium, happening online November 10-12, 2020.
This year's digital education event has expanded to three full days offering up to 17.5 CME and CEU credits.
The 2020 Tennessee Healthcare Symposium is a collaborative event between the Tennessee Medical Association and major insurance carriers to help practice managers, coders, billers, auditors and other medical office staff focus on practice efficiency, medical staff knowledge, and financial success.
Attendees will benefit from more than 12 unique educational sessions and eight additional plan update sessions hosted by major insurance carriers. Tennessee's Commissioner of Commerce and Insurance, Hodgen Mainda will kick things off with an enlightening keynote, among more than 31 industry speakers.
Day One highlights 2021 changes and updates to BCBST, Cigna, United Healthcare, Palmetto, Humana, Ambetter, TennCare MCOs (Amerigroup BlueCare, United Healthcare Community Plan), and TennCare plans.
Day Two is tailored to helping Practice Managers navigate post-pandemic revenue cycle, practice recovery, telehealth demands, new patient experiences and cyber security in the COVID era.
Day Three is for Billers and Coders, with a look at the future of E/M regulations, the role of coding in TennCare's Episodes of Care program, how to appeal denied insurance claims, and other important topics for your practice.
