TMA is a member-led organization and is dues-driven. The association cannot advance the mission without more members. This is where you fit in as a key player in TMA's new member recruitment strategy.
TMA challenges each of you to refer five new dues-paying members to join in 2025. If you successfully recruit five new members, you will receive TMA’s new Ambassador for Organized Medicine Award. Below are several helpful resources including conversation guides, important links, TMA's membership video and staff contacts.
Those who achieve the title of Ambassador of Organized Medicine will receive an ambassador pin, a badge at TMA’s Annual Meeting and public recognition.
Your leadership in the association is highly valued and appreciated. Through reaching new members, you will increase your ability to contribute to the future of organized medicine in Tennessee.
The Process:
- Have a conversation: Reach out to a colleague or one of the leads you are provided with. Use the recruitment materials below to assist.
- Fill out the Five in 25 Reference Form: This will be used by TMA staff to track your progress and new members gained from this campaign.
- Follow up: Don't push membership on people, but be sure to be available for questions or guidance. Follow up on conversations when it seems appropriate to.
The deadline to achieve five new members from referrals is January 10, 2026.
