Annual Meeting and House of Delegates
TMA's Annual Meeting and House of Delegates gives physicians from across the state an opportunity to gather as a professional group to present and debate policies that affect the practice of medicine and the delivery of patient care in Tennessee and across the country.
The next Annual Meeting and House of Delegates will take place May 1-2, 2026 at the Marriott Cool Springs in Franklin, TN. Non-delegate members will be now allowed to attend non-HOD related events during the weekend. This change was recently made by TMA's Board of Trustees and will be new for 2026.

Issues Forum
A policy-focused seminar featuring panel discussions from industry experts and thought leaders who will educate members on critical topics impacting Tennessee physicians and the patients they serve.
This year's topics will include AI in Medicine and Payment of Healthcare.
Resolution Review Sessions
A cross-sectional convening of attendees designed to provide more time to review and discuss resolutions without the formality of the House. Resolutions will be assigned a category based on its subject matter (e.g. public health, patient care, etc.) and members could attend sessions that most interest them.
The purpose of the sessions is not to revise, amend or consolidate resolutions, but rather to explore the intent and background of proposed policy while giving members an opportunity to share their perspective. The goal is to develop more representative policy outcomes when resolutions are taken up for a full vote.
