Sections
The Young Physicians Section (YPS) seeks to strengthen the value of TMA membership for early career physicians by creating leadership opportunities that encourage involvement in all facets of organized medicine, including policymaking, governance, and advocacy. The section also equips young physicians with resources to effectively transition into active practice, such as financial, educational, and networking support.
TMA-YPSÂ is open to all TMA members under the age of 40.

Volunteers spend the day in Nashville working with TMA lobbyists to discuss policy issues of their choice. The program is only open to physicians in full-time, active practice.
