Six in 26 Campaign
TMA is a member-led organization and is dues-driven. The association cannot advance the mission without more members. This is where you fit in as a key player in TMA's new member recruitment strategy.
TMA challenges all Board members, Membership Committee members and CMS presidents with less than 50 members to recruit six new dues-paying members to join in 2026. TMA challenges all Metro presidents and CMS presidents with 50 members or more to champion a 6% increase in dues paying members. If you are successful, you will receive TMA’s Ambassador for Organized Medicine Award. Below are several helpful resources including conversation guides, important links, TMA's membership video and staff contacts.Â
Please review the drop-down menus below to check if your CMS has less than 50 members or more than 50 members.Â
Those who achieve the title of Ambassador of Organized Medicine will receive an ambassador pin, a badge at TMA’s Annual Meeting and association recognition.
Your leadership in the association is highly valued and appreciated. Through reaching new members, you will increase your ability to contribute to the future of organized medicine in Tennessee.Â

The Process:Â
- Have a conversation: Reach out to a colleague or one of the leads you are provided with. Use the recruitment materials below to assist.Â
- Fill out the Six in 26 Reference Form: This will be used by TMA staff to track your progress and new members gained from this campaign.Â
- Follow up: Don't push membership on people, but be sure to be available for questions or guidance. Follow up on conversations when it seems appropriate to.Â
The deadline to achieve five new members from referrals is December 31, 2026.Â
