Engage in the Legislative Process

1/31/2024

The second session of the 113th Tennessee General Assembly convened on Tuesday, Jan. 9.  TMA’s government affairs team will actively lobby four priority issues this session, in addition to monitoring hundreds of proposed measures that promote or threaten good healthcare policies. On Feb. 19, the Legislative Committee will meet to take positions on all tracked legislation and advise our lobbyists on which issues to support or oppose.

We encourage members to participate in the legislative process by engaging with their elected officials when important votes occur to help advance the association’s legislative agenda. Members can register for calls-to-action through our Grassroots Action Network at tnmed.org/actionalerts
