Doctor’s Day on the Hill is less than a month away, and we need YOU! Join your colleagues from around the state to advocate for improved healthcare policies in Tennessee by educating state lawmakers about the issues on which they cast their votes.
This year’s half-day event will begin at noon to better accommodate regional travel times. Attendees will spend the afternoon meeting with their local legislators, observing committee hearings, and learning about current health and insurance policies affecting the practice of medicine. Participants will have the oppotunity to attend an afternoon reception. The reception will include networking with legislators and their colleagues while enjoying refreshments and small bites.
This event is FREE and open to all TMA members, students, residents, alliance members, and practice administrators, but registration is required. Bus transportation is available from the Tri-Cities, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis, and Jackson markets. For members traveling locally, parking is available within walking distance to the Cordell Hull building. The closest lot is at the MTA Garage on 400 Charlotte Ave. for a daily max rate of $45. Ride share or carpool is encouraged as parking will not be reimbursed.
