CMS Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program Meeting
CMS has important resources for the Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program (MDPP) and has a special Q&A session scheduled for Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM CST.
They are particularly interested in reaching primary care physicians, in hopes that they refer their pre-diabetic patients to the MDPP. The MDPP expanded model is structured behavior change intervention that aims to prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes among Medicare beneficiaries with an indication of prediabetes. The CMS team will answer questions related to eligibility, enrollment, billing and claims.
